Gah, I'm behind on deliving my promised ficortreat gifts. It's been a mixture of my hosting being down (thanks to the ongoing Internet Archive attack) and other excuse-shaped things, but I have more than half of them recorded. They are coming and I'm sorry! Once I'm all caught up, I plan on making a post with my haul of gifts from this lovely event. I got so many pretty things and I want everyone to see them :)

jocundasykes asked me the other day what I currently owe in exchanges (events, auctions, Triple Crown prizes, etc.) before the end of the year, and when I sat and wrote it out, the minimum was 50k, just for podfic. Oh dear. I'm going to have to calm down in 2025 I think. I must remember that when I have more than one assignment at a time, I get panicked. 

In other news, I saw this morning that I was an 8k ficinabox pinch hit, then an hour later it was down to 5k 🎉 I'm so excited to see what I get.

The 28th of December unexpectedly became the most Deanna Troi day ever for me, when reveals for startrekholidays happened and I received a parcel from an online friend!

First, here's my (extremely NSFW) gift for Star Trek Holidays, featuring Deanna/The Goddess of Empathy (the holodeck character Barclay invents using Deanna's image.) It's absolutely breathtaking.

After waking up to that beautiful art, the doorbell rang and the postman had my (slightly) late Christmas parcel from my friend! We're doing a craft swap, where we each make something for the other in my medium of choice (shrinkie dink keyrings.) For our next swap, it's her turn to choose the medium. Because I got sick, I haven't finished mine yet, but she's being very patient ❤️

In other news, voiceteam is going well so far :-) I've recorded more than I expected to be able to manage and am having fun! I'm back to work tomorrow though, boo, so I'm going to cram as much fandom in today as I can. I hope everyone had a great Christmas.

I started playing Pokemon Go just before I moved and it's been a good distraction from all the stress (and provided an even more enticing reason to walk the new dog in my life than making her happy.) If you'd like to be Pokemon Go friends, please leave me your trainer code as a comment or DM me. I'd love to send you gifts and stickers, and see your buddy Pokemon and what you're catching ^^

In other news, if you're in a giving mood, there are still some people without gifts, or without 2 gifts - the minimum required for the event to reveal, over at fandomgiftbasket. Here's a link to the event's spreadsheet that shows who is in need of gifts (the baskets listed with 0 or 1 gifts.) There are requests for fanmixes, vids, meta, graphics, fic, and art. You don't only need to fill the underfilled baskets, so any podficcers who might be interested, there are lots of podfic requests too!
